Chico Paso Fino

Chico is a 2010 14.1H Grade Paso Fino gelding. I would consider him to be broke but he is still a project in a sense as he recently has started bunny hopping when trying to take him out for a ride. The cause is unknown other than the fact that it all started when being ridden by our stallions pasture on the way-out of the driveway (it was said he was picked on by a mini donkey stud at his previous home so this could be part of it). (read more) We bought him last year and trail rode him, and he was a fun and spunky horse to ride. No buck, kick, bite. He loads, ties (will take his halter off if at a spot he is able to so that needs to be watched!), is pretty confident when out and about, has NOT been spooky when being ridden for us and when riding well he goes wherever you point him, confidently. We have had him at a WTC. He is pushy and in your space on the ground. A kid was ponied on him down at the Bottoms and was said he was fine. He prefers to lead on trail rides but will be in any place in a group. Good for the farrier, shots and wormer. He isn't a bad horse; this just isn't the home for him. We will not allow test rides on him being he is having issues, but I can ride him for you to see.
