DUCKY
This little mare is Ducky.
She is 14.1 hands tall and 15 years old.
She is another one who has come a long way since she has been here, she's gained a lot of weight and looks so much better (I really should start taking before and after pics)
Feet were a total disaster, she was not cared for at all.
Now that she has shed off, she is a black roan color.
Very quiet little mare, not a complicated ride, at all.... (read more)
She is gentle, easy to tack up, stand to mount.
She goes where she is pointed, leads or follows.
We have let her sit for weeks and she rides right off the same.
She will ride out alone, but like most, she rides better with a trail buddy.
Wanting something to just walk around the trail or the farm, she'd be perfect.
Something for the kids to follow you on, she'd be good for that, too.
I'm not going to say she is 100% sound, but she is willing. Perhaps a little joint supplement would help her a lot.
Again, she's quiet and I'd like to find her a good home.
You can go to a "rescue" and buy lame and dangerous! And you'll spend just as much or more.

We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
