This is Jackie.
A 15 hand bay mare.
She is an 11 year old and gaited.
She is friendly, easy to catch, tack up, etc.
She is good on the trail, a no nonsense kind of ride.
She's been thru the creeks, woods, on the road, ridden with the dogs, etc. She rides well, but will ride best with a trail buddy.
Gets along great with others in the field.
Maybe not what I call a total beginner horse, NOW don't go thinking she's a bad horse, she's not, sometimes she can be a little looky at new things or you may have to steer her a some, but I like her and have enjoyed riding her.... (read more)

We buy and sell horses and ponies. There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them. We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
