This horse is a living breathing UNICORN! Pongo is the ultimate trail and family horse. He is a babysitter and will go anywhere you point. I can’t fault this sweet guy!! If anything it would be that I’m pretty sure he rolls so that I have to give him a spa day! He loves the attention and will stand not even tied while you scrub him head to tail. He meets you at the gate, is respectful on the ground, ties, loads, stands for the farrier and vet, tacks up quiet without even having to be tied, isn’t spooky, is used to dogs/traffic/exotic animals/etc.... (read more) Pongo is the perfect height standing at 14.3 hands and is well built and turns heads everywhere he goes! For size reference, I am 5’10 in the video and pictures. He is confident on the trail to lead or follow and doesn’t get flustered. He is forgiving of mistakes and is push style so is never going to go faster than he is asked to. Pongo is currently in a mixed pasture with mares, geldings, and even a pony. He also does well stalled and eats and drinks when hauled. Pongo would be a fun camping horse! He is sure footed and loves to go places. I absolutely adore this horse! He would be great for a retired person that wanted something a little shorter and easier to get on and off of also. I will continue riding and hauling him until he finds his person. My toddler also rides him with me and loves that we can be silly and pretend to fall off him (boys!) Pongo is going to be someone’s dream come true. I have a phenomenal hauler that can bring him to you also! Feel free to call for more info.
