This guy is gentle. He is adorable. He is gorgeous, but man o' man is he green.

I bought him being told he is super green, and that he had been forgotten about.... (read more) I bought him being told "he will buck when you try and get him to lope". I will be honest that 9 out of the 10 times when they say that, we can usually work them right through it. I've had this guy for months, he fell on my backburner, and we got back to riding him.

He will saddle up with a hump in his back every single day. He has for us, and it hasn't stopped. Some days, the "hump" never leaves his back. Even when ridden every single day until a full sweat, drop, and repeat. If you know to look for it, he couldn't get a fly off his back in a hot summer day. I will be honest, he can't actually buck hard at all, but he also doesn't want to work out of it. If you're grandma trying to go down the trail, you're bass over tea kettle the minute you try to take him down the country road. He isn't for most of my client base.

Before you say "man, this guy just won't vet him". He flexes sound, he has been treated for EPM, he has been treated for ulcers, and he has been seen by my farrier. I am going to chalk up that he is just green and maybe a little sour.

I honestly want his stall for another I found, and in the summer heat the less I clean the better.
