If you are looking for that super sweet, gentle and trustworthy trail mule, you need to check out Leroy. His laid back disposition and easy going personality makes him a great fit for that first time mule owner or someone who maybe has had their confidence rocked a time or two and want to be able to enjoy the trails with have to worry about whether they are going to get hurt. Leroy gets a long great with other horses and mules.... (read more) He doesn’t cause any problems in the pasture or in the stall. He is easy to handle, lead, groom tack up and stands quiet for the farrier. He rides great and neck reins super well. He has a beautiful smooth walk, trot and canter. Responsive to the riders cues and has a good stop and back up. He doesn’t have any issues riding in the arena and has the potential to make an awesome 4-H or show mule. Great level headset and cute mover! Of course riding in the pastures and out on the trails it would be hard to find a better ride! He handles all types of terrain with ease, crosses water, traffic safe and not bothered by livestock and dogs. He is 100% sound and healthy, however a year ago he scratched his eye and it is cloudy. He was seen by a vet at the time and he said he does have some vision. It does not affect him at all and he is not jumpy or spooky on that side. If it wasn’t for the cloudiness you would never know.
