Beautiful, chestnut Arabian Mare. We think she was foaled in 2010, she is 14 hands and about 1000 pounds. She is a project, rescue pony. I sent in her DNA, and it was found "unmatched". When I got her, she was very timid, unsure and untrusting of humans. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She has the kindest eye, she comes when you call her, she will follow you everywhere. It took me about a year to earn her trust, and be able to halter and groom her.... (read more) She needs continued help/training with picking up her hooves and a patient, understanding farrier to take their time to teach her they will not do any harm to her. She is looking for love, and a forever home with her next person. I believe in natural horsemanship, connection based training, and ground work and I would like her to go to a new home with similar methods. I don't need to sell her; finding her the right match is most important. Price will increase with training. She has had lots of ground training, round penning, she has worn a saddle, but she has not taken a rider. She needs a knowledgeable home that will take their time with her, and continue her training. If she seems interesting to you, please send me a bit about yourself. Vet and farrier references required. She comes with a contract. She currently lives out in a herd, and comes inside for meals and inclement weather. Please contact me for more information, pictures and to schedule a time to meet this pretty lady.
