This beautiful lady is, Lainey. She is a 15 yr old unregistered Kentucky Mountain that stands the perfect size at 15.1 hands. She’s short enough to be easy to mount and dismount and tall enough to carry any size rider. Lainey is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. She is a true bay roan and turns heads everywhere you take her the second she steps off the trailer. This is the true all around horse. She is a trail horse DELUXE.... (read more) There isn’t anywhere she won’t go. She rides off alone with no problem whatsoever. She’s not one bit barn or buddy sour. You can also put her anywhere in a group. She’ll lead, follow or ride anywhere in between with no trouble. There’s no mountain too steep or river too deep. She LOVES water. I’ve run upon lots of wildlife with her on the trails and nothing bothers her. She is very sure footed. Lainey has been everywhere trail riding and camping and is a professional at it all. Lainey has just recently been to Yatesville Lake and Knott County Trail Ride. She is also definitely flashy enough for the show ring and I have shown her in fun shows and she’s always in the ribbons. She is truly a “show on Saturday and trail ride on Sunday” type of horse. If you’re reading this you can ride her! She is 110% broke! Not a mean bone in her body. I double my two year old daughter on her without hesitation. Lainey is the sweetest horse in the world. She loves grooming and being petted. She’s full of personality making her so easy to love! Lainey does everything a good horse should like standing tied, stands for bathing, stands for the ferrior, loads right up in to a trailer and will back off with ease. Lainey has also raised a couple colts and is a great mom. She is one of the smoothest horses you’ll ever sit on and is absolutely natural. She requires no effort or knowledge from her rider to get her in gait. She will gait naturally on a loose rein. Lainey is simple to ride with nothing complicated about her. She is the all around horse. She is to a GOOD home only! SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! She does not have to sell. I got a horse with more speed and just hate to see her not being used but I don’t care to keep her and feed her. She is UTD on everything and just had her shoes reset.
