This is "COOLIO", he is a BIG STOUT 16 HAND SHIRE QUARTER HORSE CROSSBRED GELDING that is super broke to ride or drive. He is 11 years old and he has been used for ranching, trail riding, driving, and working double and single. He is traffic safe to ride or drive on the main roads and he will go bravely wherever you point him. He is excellent with new surroundings and is not spooky or nervous. He will unload and ride off the same every trip out of the barn or out of the trailer.... (read more) He has excellent ground manners, he stands tied, loads and unloads quietly, and is very respectful of your space. He is handy and has been used in the pasture to catch cattle, move stock, and check fences. He has pulled a 2 wheeled cart, a 4 wheel wagon, and he is broke to all farm machinery, single or double. This big stout gelding is worth his weight in gold. He lopes off with no hump and no buck. He will lope circles, stop on whoa, back up for any distance, and move off of leg cues. He will neck rein and stand to mount from either side. This cool gelding has been there and done that. He is like a bulldozer in the woods and will blaze a trail where there is none. He doesn't care how deep the water is or how rocky and rough the terrain gets, he will continue on without hesitation. He rides out alone bravely and will also ride in a group. He is so much fun to ride and has a lot of style and action. He has feathering on his legs and is extra fancy under harness.
