Coming 7 years old, Mae is an outstanding little mare. She is a registered Gypsy that stands at 14 hands and has a thick, solid build. Mae has two blue eyes and a wealth of mane and tail. Though small in stature, she can take up the leg of a taller rider. (See video, rider is 5’8”)
Mae has been worked all over the farm and has had prior driving and riding training. She is currently working on perfecting her ground work in hand, in the round pen, and on the lunge.... (read more) Her saddle work is coming along nicely and she is a very willing partner. Mae has been riding around on the trails, exercise track, the road, through and over obstacles, and will stand quietly to be saddled and groomed. She has been popped over crossrails and small jumps, over bridges. She rides out well alone and is lower in the pecking order for group turn out. She is very neat in her stall and a clean eater, usually not a scrap left behind.
She is barefoot and up to date on all vaccines. Mae does have sweet itch in the summer but is controlled with Fly products, and supplements.
Suitable for a Confidant Beginner and up.
