Meet Blackjack!! He’s a stout 10 year old Black Quarter Horse gelding who stands a solid 15.1hh. This thick boy loves people and attention as he has a friendly and curious personality. Blackjack has been ridden English, western and bareback by riders of all ages, sizes and skill levels. Overall he is a very easy going, laid back gelding well broke to ride walk, trot, canter. He’s got a lovely jog and will easily pick up both canter leads.... (read more) He’s got excellent breaks and responds well to leg pressure. You can ride him on a loose rein or ask him to collect up and ride in frame and on the bridle. He’s a very versatile horse who has been primarily used for lessons and trail riding. He’s had riders taking lessons on him as young as 7 years old all the way up to 70 years old. Blackjack is an awesome trail horse and will happily ride next to loud traffic, next to barking dogs, over bridges and through the river. He loads like a champ and is an easy keeper living outside.
