This handsome guy is not only eye-catching, but he's also incredibly friendly and affectionate. Max would be perfect as a companion horse or one for your kids to grow up around.... (read more) We are a horse rescue, and we are only rehoming Max to make room on our farm for other horses who need TLC to find a good home, too.

Max leads, ties, loads, and trailers great. He is perfect for the vet and farrier is currently barefoot. We rescued Max from a kill pen in November 2022. We were told his previous owner rode him (before he ended up in a kill pen), and the people who helped us rescue him from the kill pen had videos of them riding him. We have not ridden him since we got him since we've been focused on getting him back up to a good weight, so he'll need a tune up if you do want to ride him.

Max will do best in a home where he gets tons of love and attention and will have a pasture friend to keep him company. He's not buddy sour, but he is so friendly and deserves to have another horsey friend. He is great with mares and geldings and is currently turned out with a mixed bunch. He ranks at the bottom of the herd, and he doesn't pick fights with other horses.

Max is one of the sweetest horses we've encountered, and he's basically a big puppy dog. Don't miss out on the chance to make this sweet boy a part of your family!
