(read more) “Shine” is a 2019 GHA (Gypsy Horse Association) Gypsy / AQHA Gelding. Sired by GVHS R DORADO, who goes back to Gypsy stallions ST CLARIONS and THE BUSINESS, and out of a SHINING SPARK bred AQHA mare, this young man brings forward the best of both breeds with all of his beauty, bone, and brains! Shine is a STUNNING silver dapple. Not to be confused with a chocolate palomino. Shine is a black horse with a silver gene. With a luxurious mane and tail, this gelding has hair for days but not too much leg feathering, which makes for lighter maintenance. Not only is Shine EASY on the eyes, but he is a kind and willing individual, too! He has been used for a variety of tasks on the ranch, has been schooled in the arena, has been hauled to a few small shows, has been used as a turn back horse, and has been to town to enjoy the sights! He has taken everything in stride and enjoys being out with his rider. He is super smooth to ride, athletic, and incredibly easygoing for such a young individual. Shine stands 15.1 hands and is heavily made while not being overly drafty. Shine could easily excel in the areas of western dressage, ranch riding/ranch versatility, ranch roping, mounted archery, mounted shooting, mounted patrol, parades, etc. He is already a nice leisure riding horse and would make a tremendous prospect for packing and mountain riding. Shine has always been well cared for and loved. He has nice, big feet all around, has been kept barefoot, and goes well that way.
