Remy is a gorgeous 9 yr old 15.1 hh grade Dun Quarter Horse gelding. He is super broke, neck reins, and has excellent ground manners. Remy is super sweet and loves attention, baths, grooming, and hanging out. Over the years, he has been out on lots of trails, including mountains, camping, town trails, goes through water, swims, and rides in a group and alone. He can pony another horse, can be packed on, and does great on the road and for horse camping.... (read more) Remy has a great handle and moves off of leg, direct reins, side passes, opens/closes gates, picks up leads with ease, is trained with voice commands, and has a great stop. He also goes over bridges, through sensory course obstacles, carries a flag, and has many hours of sensory training with a Natural Horsemanship foundation. He would make an ideal Mounted Patrol horse.
In the arena, he picks up his leads with ease, has been roped off of out of the box, used for team sorting, and is patterned on the barrel and poles. He has speed if you want it and comes right down if you don't. He would also make a fantastic Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Versatility, and or Western Dressage/ Dressage horse. He has a gorgeous extended flat trot and is a willing partner.
On the ground, Remy has excellent ground manners, is great for the farrier, is easy to catch, stands tied quietly, and wants to be with his people. He enjoys attention and has such a fun personality. If you are looking for that special All Around gelding to take you from the arena to trail/camping or the ranch- Look no further than Remy. Jump on him bareback with a halter and ride him all over. He would be a great partner for a teenager. He is sound, healthy, and utd on teeth, feet, vaccinations, and worming.
