Percy is a super sweet palomino three year old gelding. He adores my children and is a "meet you at the gate" kind of horse. He loves neck scratches and nose kisses. He makes a very convincing unicorn!

He is trained to jump and is futurity nominated for Hunter and Driving futurity classes at the 2023 AMHA World show. We have also just started showmanship and halter obstacle (trail) training and have done some ground driving.... (read more) He's a quick learner and has a good attitude so I think he would pick up those skills quickly with continued training. He does paw the ground while tied alone, so we've been working on that. He enjoys baths and grooming.

Percy has his hooves trimmed every six weeks by the farrier and stands reasonably well. Occasionally, he will fidget or want to put his leg down but in general he's one of the easy to trim horses. He is up-to-date on shots. He is due for his next dental float in May.

Percy is AMHA/AMHR registered, but may outgrow his AMHA papers. He is currently around 34" tall. He has excellent bloodlines. Percy is a First Knight Billy Idol grandson, and his sire resides in Europe now. His dam is a multi World champion halter mare who is a daughter of Modern Gold Candyman.

Percy does well with my other minis and is low in the pecking order so I imagine he would get along well with a new horse.

Percy is only for sale because we are moving a couple states away and are trying to minimize the number of horses we have to board.
