Witten Creek Jewel “Julie” was born 3-20-2023. This darling gray filly has the best of both worlds. She has the calm, unflappable demeanor of her Percheron dam and the curiosity and carriage of her Friesian sire. Our FHANA stallion (Vorn MFF) is a son of Doaitsen 420 Sport and is out of a Kroon mare sired by none other than Beart 411 (himself a son of the fabulous Jasper 366. Vorn sires consistently upright, correct foals, who love to interact with their humans, and that are athletic to excel in any discipline.... Julie has been color tested by UC Davis genetics lab and she carries the gray gene. Julie will be DNA verified to both parents and is registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse Association. She is microchipped with a FEI approved chip. We expect her to mature in the 16.1-16.3 range.
Our foals are imprinted at birth and handled daily. Before leaving here in October, they will have seen a huge variety of things..rattle sack, pack baskets, pool noodles, inflatables, farm equipment, hula hoops…etc. Julie will be loading in both a ramped and step up trailer, standing tied, leading and be current on deworming, vaxx and farrier.
Julie takes everything in stride, whether it is the tarp over her or the bag of cans rattling on her.

(read more) We strive to produce calm, quiet and loving foals, that will be a true pleasure to work with. Daily handling and exposure to a variety of items help them get started right. We try to have each baby not only halter broke, standing for farrier, and loading in a trailer, wearing a pad and surcingle, as well as crossing cavelliti, crossing a tarp, and standing on and crossing a pedestal, We try to teach them to think about things and to trust their human partners. Our stallion, Vorn MFF is a son of Doaitsen 420, the USEF Friesian sire of the year for 2016, 2017, and 2018. Vorn's mother is a crown mare by Beart 411, the two time driving champion of the Netherlands. Vorn rides and drives. Vorn is also hydro and dwarfism free and five panel negative.. His first foals are on the ground and exceeding all expectations. We have sold babies from coast to coast. Vorn’s get are all very people oriented, athletic and very intelligent.
