Snoopy is a 10 year old 15.2 hand perlino Quarter Horse Gelding. This gelding has two beautiful bright blue eyes. If you have been in the market for a saintly type gelding this is the horse for you. He is branded and originally came out of Texas. Nice stocky build, good bone and nice big hooves. Snoopy has a very kind face and eye.
This gelding is a safe, quiet mount for the whole family. He’s the type that’ll never offer to go faster than the rider asks him to.... (read more) Rides English and western equally well. Walks, trots, canters, stops, stands and backs. Stands at the mounting block. Nice soft mouth and always ridden in a snaffle bit. If you are an unbalanced rider or rider that lacks confidence he’s the type that’ll take care of you. Very smooth comfortable gaits that aren’t forward. Moves off leg and knows his leads. Snoopy rides around the indoor arena, outdoor arena and anywhere you point him out on the trails. Snoopy is also super willing to jump and does not hesitate. I don’t think he ever jumped before coming to us but we asked and he did it. He has that happy go lucky, willing personality and is just always aiming to please. On the trails he will ride out by himself with zero hesitation. Not barn or buddy sour at all. Completely road and traffic safe. This gelding is absolutely bombproof out on the trails. Whether you are 6 years old or 90 years old Snoopy will take care of you. He is big enough to carry a variety of riders and would also be a great husband horse. This is a horse that could go into any lesson program tomorrow and I think he’s nice enough to go to a horse show and do quite well. Snoopy has impeccable ground manners and a very sweet in your pocket personality. No vices what so ever, up to date on everything, barefoot and 100% sound. Clips, bathed, trailers, cross ties, ground ties, good to saddle and easy to bridle. Requires no maintenance or supplements what so ever. Lives inside or out happily and gets along with all other horses and ponies. I really can’t say enough good things about this horse, I could honestly just go on and on about him.
