We gave this adorable little guy the name Catfish because he had the most whiskers we have ever seen on a foal when he was born. He has also earned his name because he loves water! Catfish is shaping up to be a top notch gypsy cross - he has the build, the hair, and the personality. Sire is our 14.2h GVHS registered gypsy stallion Leo who is a grandson of The Lion King and dam is a 13.3h-14h bay roan quarter pony. We expect his mature height to be right at 14h.... (read more) Despite being a cross, he has loads of thick hair all over and has quite a bit of feathering on all four feet. Catfish was imprinted at birth and he has a BIG personality, always wants to be the center of your attention. If you are in the barn he wants to know what you're doing, if you're petting another horse in the pasture he will want to come get his own petting. Very curious, comical, and in your pocket. Handles new things really well, watch the video below of going through various trail obstacles and loading in the trailer. He will even get in the trailer without a halter on. Our family raises a variety of horses from gypsies and drafts to friesians and appaloosas. We have farms spread from Arkansas to Wisconsin and different family members specialize in different breeds. We also do some consignments, typically in the surrounding areas, therefore some horses are listed in different states. However, we have numerous references from happy customers!
