Price reduced due to breaking my foot.. Chief is a UNICORN!! He is safe for anyone, broke as they come, and absolutely loves people especially the kiddos!! Chief is one of those 1 in a million horses that everyone is looking for. I have loved owning this sweet guy but he deserves to have his own person. Chief is as uncomplicated as they come and has ZERO vices! He is easy to catch, ties, loads, hauls, stands for farrier, no buck or unpleasant behavior EVER even after sitting.... (read more) He is traffic safe, loves water, will pony colts, is fancy broke (great stop, sidepass, light handle, rides bridleless, etc). Chief isn’t spooky and will go absolutely anywhere you point him. He has been ridden in parades, carries flags, hauled and competed everywhere, has done ranch work and can be roped off of, the list is endless! I had intended to haul him and get back in the swing of competing. He is as automatic as they come on the barrels and is easy to run. I lost my competitive edge after years of riding colts and then having a baby. Chief will easily cruise in the top of the 3D against the best in the industry with my holding him back. Easily solid 2D and potentially faster with the right person but will also slow work without a fuss. No alley issues, doesn’t require training at home, just keep him legged up. He is youth suitable even as a jump ride. Chief is just the best of all worlds. I am probably really going to regret letting him go but he’s too nice to pull out once a month. With my focusing more on the breeding and baby side of things plus having a toddler of my own, I’m doing him no justice. Feel free to call anytime, that’s the easiest way to reach me.
