Zephyr is a 19 y/o flea bitten grey, 15.1hh mare, kid friendly and beginner SAFE SAFE, currently used in lessons but would prefer to ride trails over arena work!

Have had riders 6 through 60 on her - she is safe and VERY tolerant of new riders learning.
She just did summer camp also! Her perfect home is someone wanting to ride casually, a family that likes to trail ride needing a horse for visitors or for kids to join. She is willing and respectful with a confident leader and really likes to bond with *her* person.... (read more) SAME horse leave her a week or a month.
NO maintenance, she moves well.

We have done leadline and in hand rides in our arena with beginner lessons, and more intermediate riders have WTC. We have also ridden her bridleless.
We suspect her initial training was in Western Pleasure as her jog is very comfortable and her canter pickup is very WP like.

Utd on coggins, vet, farrier, stands well for vet and farrier. No vices no bad behaviors. Gets along with mares and geldings,not an alpha mare.

She needs a LOT of leg to keep going in the arena (we don't use spurs but think she is spur trained),but seems much more motivated once on trail so we are recommending her for a trail home. Goes out with others and getting more confident going alone. Following/leading another horse on trail she is beginner safe. Not spooky.
