Freya is a gorgeous solid black registered Rocky Mountain yearling (born March 2022) with excellent bloodlines. She is a granddaughter to highly sought after Pence’s Blue Boy and the direct daughter of 2011 grand champion NightHawk. This little girl should have one heck of a gait once trained under saddle! We expect her to mature to be about 15hh (dam and sire both 15hh+). She has been handled almost daily and is familiar with positive reinforcement based training.... (read more) At just one year old she leads at liberty, lifts her hooves, knows how to use the reverse round pen, stands for whatever and comes running when called from the pasture. Ever since she was little she has taken quite an interest in people and would follow us around well away from her mother. She is one of the boldest babies we’ve ever produced and is one to walk right up to unfamiliar objects, pets, people with confidence. She has had some physical challenges in the past so is not recommended for future breeding but should grow up to have a long career as a trail or leisure horse. The right home is an absolute must and we’d love for her to go to a home that will continue her R+ training.
