Wind Chill aka Rain is an/ 8 yr old / 15.2 & 1/2 hand / Canadian warmblood who is ready to bring home the ?ribbons?
Rain has three exceptional gaits! A lovely forward, round and correct movement. That is sure to get you a piece of the hack every time! She is a push button type on the flat! Always picks up the right leads. She has a flying lead change!... (read more) Rider must ask for it. She stretch’s down onto the bit and is very light on your hands.
She has a lovey forwarded pace to the jump. She ALWAYS jumps the jump EVEN when her rider gets in the way!! She is an extremely honest mount!! She is not spooky with new or scary jumps! She is a point and shoot kind of horse. She likes to find her own distance.
Rain was previously used as a fox hunter. She is very quiet on the trail. She prefers to ride out with a friend! I typically take her out on her own she is still quiet and willing, just seems more relaxed in a group.
She stands all day to be groomed. She is very personable and super snuggly! Loves snacks too of course! She is easy for the vet and farrier.
Currently out with one gelding and 2 small pony mares. Low in the pecking order.
She loads well and is used to being off property! She is quiet in a show situation with many different horses in the ring. She is also quiet when it is just her in the ring at a new place.
Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this mare! I love everything about her! No vices. She lives out 24/7.
Rain is so undeniably fantastic in both personality and talent that we have decided to offer for lease only. She had a clean vetting recently but radiographs showed some inflammation in her p3 that can be managed with shoes and minimal supplementation. Rain is best suited for a 3ft & under job. Rain shows no signs of lameness. She is comfortable, happy and loves to have a job!
We love her too much to let her go permanently. She has MILES to go and win with a deserving rider!!
