Bentley is a 16hh 19 y/o registered off the track thoroughbred looking for a laid back home. He is one eyed but JUST as capable! He worked our lesson program last spring and fall,and did summer camp! We would like him to find his own person who understands his needs.

(read more) After learning to ride straight and trust us on his non seeing side He entered our lesson program and was a favorite of many students. Now his missing eye doesnt bother him at all! He is SAFE and rides in a hackamore, English or Western. So sweet and loves people.

He has a beautiful uphill canter, enjoys jumping though we recommend him for a flatwork home. After a career in mounted shooting he much prefers riding trails or a field over arena work. Leave him a week or a month he will be the same.

He also prefers a lighter rider so we are looking for someone 150 lbs or less. He is safe around kids but we think he would do best with at least an advanced beginner rider as he has a big strided trot and canter. Someone with light hands and a light seat would suit him well.

Loads well, stands for vet and farrier. Currently in front shoes. UTD on coggins, vaccines and farrier. Rides in a hackamore or a bit.
