Stewart is the last foal from our incredible 100% Heritage stallion, Echo's Society Shocker and our own Royal's Merry Dee (one of few remaining daughters of Pride's Royal Master and a Paige's Echo mare). With his significant and special breeding, the horse Stewart will become in the next couple of years will be a dream come true. He is already almost as tall as his 4 year old full brother and has the same gentle, easygoing temperament as well.... (read more) Although Stewart is very confident and friendly, he tends to be more quiet and respectful, standing near to ask for affection instead of pushing and demanding attention. He has had his feet trimmed every 5 weeks for nearly all of his life and is easy to halter and lead, is not aggressive at feeding time, allows his feet to be picked up, has never offered to bite or kick, and is generally a sweet, laid-back fellow. I have listed his height as 16 hands since all of his brothers have reached or exceeded that height and he is well on his way. Stewart has not been started under saddle although he has had a good bit of groundwork. We generally do not start our young horses until they are 3 1/2 or 4 years old, especially the larger geldings since it takes them longer to mature physically and mentally.
