Boone is an 7 year old Appaloosa gelding that stands at 14.2 and built like a brick house! Talk about a gelding with all the WOW factor from his gorgeous red roan color to his stunning blue eyes and flaxen mane and tail he sure is the kind to grab eyes everywhere he goes!!! Boone has clean legs, no bumps or scars and great hooves- he is sound in every way.... (read more) Boone is one of the most gentle all around horses I’ve ever handled and swung a leg over! Boone is quiet all day long and virtually unflappable. I have ridden him around with a flag, drug a sled, over tarps and bridges, with an umbrella and had him up on tires and other obstacles with ease. In the arena he rides western or english comfortably and is smooth and easy to walk/trot/canter, he has nice transitions and a good stop. Boone will guide off a neck rein and leg and listens to your seat as well. Under English tack we have had him trot over poles and jump low cross rails to 2’3” verticals with fill and he was easy to ride to the jumps and gladly goes over- no refusal or ducking -out! Out on trail Boone will ride alone or in a group and is good with traffic, other horses, dogs, machinery, quads and all the other sights and sounds you see out on trail and down the road. Boone will cross deadfall and water and is happy to take the lead or bring up the rear. Boone would make an outstanding beginner horse, confidence builder or lesson/ therapy program horse with his gentle demeanor and exposure to so much around him and on him. You can easy play catch from the saddle with him, swing hula hoops and more! Boone sells 100% sound without vices or limitations.
