Zara is amazing out on the trail and gathering cattle both. She is so willing and absolutely smooth to ride. She is great in all of her gaits W/T/C. She was a buggy pony and has a super smooth extended trot.... (read more) She is excelling at jumping. She is so versatile and always willing. She is not marish one bit; you wouldn’t know she wasn’t a gelding until you looked. Traffic-safe bridges and tunnels have even been on night rides. As seen in the video going by the dog park with dogs running at the fence and barking, it did not phase her. Ladies, if your husband tells you to hit the stairs, watch the video; you break a sweat! She is sure-footed and has been ridden in high elevations up to 11,000 ft. She loves working with cows as well. She has been used for sorting as well. She is easy to tack up and untack, loads as one should, and unloads as one should. She gets along with everything in the pasture, staying out of trouble. She’s used to riding with dogs. She has seen all of the wildlife Colorado has to offer. She is as gorgeous as they come, with big hair, nice feathers, and gorgeous black and white. She is a thick girl and can carry most size riders, yet she is easy to get on. She stands to mount and dismount. She rides collected and has gears in reverse. Dust storms do not bother her, as seen in the video. She will ride thru the thickest sage, as seen in the video. Great with water, will swim if you like, no matter how big the river or lake is. She’s got a great mind and so many years left. She is perfect for showing and bonus. You can trail ride her outside alone or in groups. She will lead or follow and ride away from the group. She has been such a pleasure to work with, and we are excited to see her get her new best friend. She is barefoot in all videos.
