Gus is a sweet 13.3hh pony, 15 year old gelding looking for a rider that wants to go on adventures! He goes both English and Western, jumps, barrels and trail rides.

Before you read further: Our horses ads are removed the moment an adoption is finalized, so if they are still posted, they are still in need of a home.

Gus worked a fall fair last year and toted kids as young as 1 at hand led pony rides for several hours. He is calm enough for kids to brush him and ride him at the walk, but once he gets up to a trot he can really GO! We are recommending at least an Intermediate rider for him.

Loads well, stands for vet and farrier. Currently barefoot, easy keeper and UTD on all shots and Coggins.

We have done some barrel racing training on him, and also some small cross rails.
He also rocks it out on the trail - super trusty guy! He really is a great all rounder. He has also been used in our lesson program for our more advanced riders. We think he would be great at foxchasing or cross country as he has great stamina.

We will require an adoption application for Gus, but ownership will transfer immediately (No 1-year wait as with our lower priced adoptions). He will be adopted with a buyback contract.
