Bar C Real Bueno “Patriot” is an absolutely stunning, 4-year-old, dapple grey, AQHA gelding! His gorgeous head, dapples, and tall white socks on his front legs make him really stand out in a crowd.... (read more) I’ve hauled him all over and people always stop me to ask me about him. He just has a presence about him, and he commands attention. Some horses just have it, and he does! He stands a true 15 hands and string tests to show that he should grow some more. His pedigree is packed with great horses like Real Gun who is the 2004 AQHA WORLD SHOW SUPERHORSE, AQHA PERFORMANCE CHAMPION with 453 AQHA points in 6 events, Superior Calf Roping, Heading and Heeling, ROM in Cutting and Working Cowhorse – points in Reining. He takes after his grand sire by being a truly a do-it-all kind of gelding and one of the smartest horses I have ever ridden. He remembers what you teach him, and he is very eager to please and follow direction. What also makes him extremely special is he is so levelheaded and calm. He never gets worked up or anxious about anything. Patriot has a very smooth and collected trot and lope and is easily ridden off leg commands and light neck rein. His turnarounds are so correct and effortless! He has a very easy stop and back just off your seat. He is a very well broke horse that anyone will enjoy riding. He knows how to side pass over to a step to pick you up for easy mounting. Patriot is also good with tarps, traffic, dogs, loud noises, etc. We have had all levels of riders on his back, and he was fabulous. He has proven to be a tremendous all-around gelding who is multitalented. Patriot has been used for all aspects of ranch work from dragging calves to the fire, doctoring off, and pushing cattle. He has also spent time at the local sale barn penning and sorting cattle. We really think highly of this gelding. The sky is the limit with his talent. He would make a great rope or barrel horse as well. He is incredibly fun to take on the trails as he is spook free and walks at a nice pace. He can be left off for weeks and is always the same horse when you step on him again. Patriot is 100% sound and has never had any health issues of any kind. He is truly at the prime of his life, a horse the whole family can enjoy, and one of the most incredible horses I have ever owned! He has the talent and brains to take you as far as you want to go or be the best family/trail horse you could ask for. He is guaranteed sound and anyone interested in him is welcome to get a PPE done prior to the sale ending.
