Sparkie ( Dancing Sparks) was bred to be a race horse or serious endurance horse competitor. Instead this last foal I bred and raised has been my companion, trail buddy, and ranch pal. She has been all over mountain parks trails in Phoenix and Cottonwood, Sedona area. At nearly 74 I count on her gentle reliable trail sense as she is used to bicycles, hikers, dogs and miscellaneous trail obstacles, She has had natural horsemanship training and some light NATRC work.... (read more) As I plan to travel more and ride less I am willing to part with this beautiful and gentle mare to the right home. She would be suitable for a senior or junior rider at intermediate level. Sparkie is easy load for trailers, stands for trims and shoes and uses boots for trail ( included is bridle and two sets fr0nt boots $600 value). Very gentle and friendly on the ground. Willing on the trails.

I have owned Arabian horses for over 40 years. I bred winning Arabians in endurance and racing and competed in endurance for several years winning, placing and riding for completion. I rode the wonderful racing Arabian Saam by Samtyr and bred some outstanding athletes in both Arabian racing and endurance at my farm in San Jose, CA. As a senior I have enjoyed trail riding all over the mountain parks around Phoenix and Cottonwood.
