6 yr old BLM mustang

This is Flash, one of my personal horses. I am very attached to him, but I do not feel like I am his forever person. I decided it would be best to rehome him now before I start his training under saddle for the sake of consistency. With that said, I need to rehome him ASAP.

I have been working with him for over a year and have taken him from untouchable to ground driving in Western and English tack and standing quietly at the mounting block.... (read more) He stands 14hh, is about 900#, is a quick learner, friendly, but gets bored easily and can be a bit pushy if not stimulated enough. Flash does better with regular work but even after several weeks off, he is easy to catch, ties, can pick up all four feet, stands for grooming and tacking, and will lunge in a round pen or on a lunge line. He still needs practice loading into a trailer and holding his back feet up for the farrier, but he catches on quick with consistent training. Flash excels with positive reinforcement training (using food rewards) but is still pretty forgiving with pressure/release methods. This handsome man is ready to meet his forever person and get started started under saddle! Flash would make a fantastic dressage or reining prospect but also has an affinity for jumping obstacles!
