PLEASE READ ENTIRE ADD ABOUT CAJUN BEFORE CALLING. Thank you! :D WATCH HIS NEWEST VIDEOS! I adore this sweet boy!
Cajun is 8 years old and stands about 15.1 maybe 15.2 I will measure him soon to know for sure but he isn't over 15.2 for sure. He is not registered but age verified by the vet, I have had Cajun for 3 years and he is one of my personal horses he had just been out to pasture for a while after I bought him as the consignment horses for sale had taken priority over my personal horses.... (read more) Cajun would make an EXCELLENT Barrel, Pole or Jumping horse!!!! We have been riding him quite a bit the last year but he will still sit a month or so out in the pasture with other horses and cattle in between being ridden or messed with. Cajun isn't ever an outlaw when you go to ride him again and 100% just wants to please the person. He is super sweet and loves attention. His teeth were floated on 3/13/23, also wormed, he stands to saddle, stands to mount, loads himself and backs out of the trailer like a gentlemen and automatically backs out when he is untied, you can open and close gates off of him, rides with leg pressure, neck reins, side passes, backs, he does like to step out and go but is easy to hold back and keep collected. Cajun is currently being tuned up in all of the regards to the things mentioned above, by different and softer hands, his head was a little high which is what warranted me to get his teeth checked, I also had unintentionally had someone riding him that was not doing Cajun justice, who had him always geared to go, pulling him around and rougher in his mouth than I like or want one to be ridden like. Now I am riding him and will be continuing with him once his teeth have a few days to not be sore anymore. I will be working on his headset and getting him better collected without the use of a tie down. In some of his videos another guy is riding him in a tie down and it's because he is a roper and habitually rides EVERYTHING in a tie down which I do not like but again why I am personally going to be working with Cajun from here on out. Cajun has been on miles of trails, crosses water, rides down the highway, swims in the lakes, ridden in steep inclines and on rough trails, blazing through various heavily wooded and bushy areas, stands for the farrier and is automatic with picking up his feet. Cajun is a very nice horse and needs an experienced confident rider for him to confident. He will ride anywhere you ask him to go but you have to be confident or he will second guess going by himself. He rides great with any other horses, can pony others off of him and point his nose and he will go. NOW for the other side of Cajun. Also if you are rough man who is looking for a roping horse or are someone heavy handed who yanks a horse around or rides rough please don't even inquire about Cajun.
When I first got Cajun he was very distrusting of everyone and acted as though he was constantly expecting you to slap him in the face, if I raised my hand quickly he would fling his head up in fear and was very difficult to catch or get hands on. HOWEVER since I have taken time with him and he isn't just running like a wild horse on 100 plus acres and in rough hands, he is a completely different animal and he loves attention, I can MOST day's walk out in the pasture and he will come put his head in the halter for me Cajun loves me and I genuinely love Cajun. He is still a little shy at first especially with those he doesn't know but If I were able to keep him closer to me and with just him or another horse he would do a 180 even more than he already has. As a young horse he was given a bad impression of people and he needs someone full of love to just love the snot out of him and prove to him once and for all that not all people are ugly and hurtful. Cajun is a horse FULL of heart and he loves and for that it makes it very difficult for me to part with this gorgeous boy but Cajun need someone who keeps him in their backyard who at the least can love on him consistently through the week, him sitting without riding doesn't affect him but he needs the touching and loving to build a bond, he has the kindest and sweetest eyes and wants nothing but love and affection and to make the person happy. I know someone was very ugly to him when he made a mistake and he does NOT want to make a mistake out of respect for the person but also fear of getting in bad trouble. NO portion of Cajun wants to be an outlaw, he is a definite lover and needs his forever loving mom or dad and I promise you he will make the best horse you've ever owned. He needs experienced because of his energy and wanting to walk out and lead the way but also because of his past and needs someone who understands horses and a horse like Cajun. I know I have made him sound far worse than he actually is but that's also due to me wanting to make sure someone understands Cajun 100% and his needs because if you are okay with what you have read and you see in his videos you will absolutely love and adore Cajun in person and will keep him until the day he dies which is my main goal in finding his new family. Also I feel like he would rather cut off his face then hurt someone, he has never been ugly, tried to kick or hurt anyone. He really is a kind soul and just wants to make you happy. Cajun and my other personal horses are only being sold for us to be able to remodel our home and fix it up to sell it and I don't have land here to keep my babies and they need more consistent attention than I can give him for a while and he's just getting older and wasting away his young years and what could make someone else really happy right now. Thank you for checking out Cajun, stay safe and have a blessed day!
Oh also he has done team penning, will track a cow, team sortings, been in parades, loped and ran the barrel pattern a few times, has done several ranch things, etc. As soon as we find sortings or events start up again we will take him to get video's if he is still for sale.

SPECIALTY

I specialize in training and selling family safe, dog like, loving horses! I was born riding horses and started training personal horses at about 8 years old and then other people’s horses when I was 12 years old.
I only charged $400 per month and that included their feed! Oh, how times have changed!... (read more) I have had countless injuries and hospital visits caused from the many different horses I was so incredibly addicted to training growing up! Many of the horses we had, were marketed or portrayed to be “Kid Safe" "Bombproof" “Grandma Safe” If we ever meet, you’ll see at least a few of the scars I ended up with from those “Safe” horses because the scars are on my face…….
I have many more scars and have broken or fractured every limb at least once, broken ribs, dislocations, concussions, tailbone broken TWICE and many stories if anyone would ever like to hear them or see some of the scary and gross pictures, I’m always happy to share!
My poor parents had many hospital trips and an expensive ambulance ride or two, medical bills and according to my poor momma a whole lot more stress and worry than any mother deserves! There were also lots of times my momma was cleaning up my wounds at home too. And unfortunately for me, now being in my thirties, I am paying the price every single day throughout my body for all those injuries and sometimes depending on how long I ride for or what I’m doing on the horses I could be in bad shape physically for a few days and in a lot of pain if I’m not careful. It’s awful to live with and that’s one of the many reasons I do what I do and sell the horses I do! I try my best to help prevent bad stories like mine for other people and help them get good quality horses that suit them and their needs. After many years of learning about horses, as well as some unlearning of a few things, I now have the experience and ability to identify which horses are suitable for families and which ones are not and within an incredibly short amount of time! I am extremely picky about the horses that I personally buy to sell or that I consign to sell because it takes a special type of horse to be or to make into a good family or beginner safe horse! I am also ALWAYS here for questions that you may have even AFTER you have purchased your horse from me! I personally ride every horse extensively so that I can do my best to make sure I’m able to identify and or correct any issues one might have in order to place them with their suitable forever families!
My goal is ALWAYS to suit the right horse or horses with the right level of rider, to ensure the horses have good forever homes and my buyers are extremely happy and are as equipped as possible with everything they and their horse needs for their forever success and happiness with their new family! I sell multiple horses to families that I pair or fit together who ride well together, get along with each other etc. As well as supply all the tack you’ll need that fits you and your horse, so you are 100% ready to go ride once you get them home! If you do not purchase a horse from or through me and would like advice about one that you found, I am happy to help you and give you my honest and unbiased opinion and will travel to look at and ride the horse for you that you are interested in if you’re worried about buying something that won’t fit your needs. I want to see people enjoy good horses and if I can help prevent a bad situation by providing advice, I am happy to help! Just because someone has been riding all their life or has been selling horses doesn’t qualify them to sell “Family Safe Horses” it takes years to be able to identify things and can be extremely dangerous purchasing from someone who has just decided to sell their horse. It is especially important that you are experienced and know what to look for or that you purchase from someone experienced, reputable and honest because one bad horse could cost you more than you ever want to imagine. Be careful in your search and please do not hesitate to call or text me if there is anything I can help you with again, EVEN if that means that you don’t purchase a horse from me! I mean that genuinely! Most of my customers are now close friends, some of them insist on being bonus grandparents to my 2 small children and that makes me very proud. It means the world to me to see my customers enjoying the wonderful life of having a 4-legged best friend or 6 if that’s what your heart desires! Thank you all for checking out our page! You can call or text me anytime FYI I am a single momma with two children 4 and 5 and work here every day on the ranch so please be patient, I will get back with you! I do not check the messages on here so please don’t waste your time. I have more than likely answered any questions one might have in the very long and time-consuming descriptions that I write about each of the horses that I have for sale if you’ll just take the time to read it all and watch the videos before reaching out, so we don’t waste each other’s time.
I am happy to provide references, as I genuinely strive to be as honest as I possibly can about each horse that I sell to ensure the forever happiness of not only the buyer but for the horses as well. Thank you for understanding and I look forward to hearing from you and helping you make your dreams come true! Other things we offer at the now and coming soon! We offer:
