Meet Dillon! Price negotiable to the right home!

Dillon is a 14.3 hh racking horse. Dillon is 14 almost 15 years old, he is mainly used for pleasure and trail rides. Dillion needs an experienced and/or confident rider, he has no vices. He picks up all 4 feet with no problem, great for the farrier, and is sound, he is barefoot. His teeth are kept up with and he handles it well. He loads in any type of trailer and should settle in smoothly, we have moved him 3 times with no problems settling in.... (read more) His gaits are very smooth, he willingly moves into walk, rack, and canter, and picks up his correct lead. He's been over bridges, creeks, poles/logs, and open fields. He has been around mowers, atvs/dirtbikes, he doesn't spook at dogs or cats. He is good with kids on the ground while grooming and has been on crossties & been tied. He does good with baths if you ease him into them. No young kids have been on him during riding. His daily riders are teens with experience. He's had a few confident adult/novice riders here lately and does good. He responds with voice cues, leg pressure, and seat. He's more whoa than go with novices, but with an experienced rider will pick up his pace if asked. He does have one blue eye but just got it checked recently and has no problems. Coggins and worming are up to date. Our vet can come out if requested at the buyer's expense. The reason why we're selling him is that he isn't the right breed for what my family wants to excel in.
