I’m excited to introduce you to Forbig Reverend or Hank as he is known around the barn. This stunning true blue roan gelding stands 16.3hh at 3 years old. Hank is the whole package. He’s big, he’s got the color, he’s broke with all the buttons and he’s got a head full of sense. Hank has been in our program for the past 18 months and has exceeded all expectations.... (read more) He will walk, trot, and canter with ease. His gaits are collected, adjustable and steady. He knows his leads, and even has his flying changes. Hank is so supple he will canter 20 meter circles all day if you want. There’s not an obstacle course this boy can’t conquer. Tarps, traffic, bridges, water, teeter totters, pedestals, opening gaits, he’s done it all. When it comes to liberty work Hank may as well have written the book. He will happily lay down in any soft spot. Sit down for lunch or if he gets a choice he prefers you let him join you on the couch or a recliner. He knows how to say yes, no and he can even count! Once you get to know Hank you won’t need a lead rope or halter to get him to walk, jog and lope around as he follows you on the ground. He knows his name and will come when called. Hank will build you up every ride, in fact everyone who’s every ridden him can’t help but to smile as he’s so much fun! Hank can be ridden both English and Western or completely tackless. You can pull the bridle right off and walk, trot, canter, stop, back and even doing flying changes just off of your seat and voice. Hank is the happy go lucky type who never has a bad day, and finding something to spook him has been near impossible. He has been out in deep woods, wide open fields and down main roads. He’s worked on the farm moving cows and has been roped off of. He’s taken the kids sledding on snowy days. He stands tied anywhere you ask him. His manners are A+ Hank is also well broke to drive he has been in several holiday parades and is 100% ok with city work. I am so proud to offer this boy for sale.
