I purchased OG last year he was highly misrepresented and not up to date on any vet care. I immediately started riding him in preparation for competitive drill team. He is sore after hard riding and is not going to be suited as a performance mount. We X-rayed the legs in which he was sore on-there were no abnormal findings, however he does have positive flexion on his flexion test. Since I have no longer been riding him at a performance level he has been sound for trail riding/light arena work. He will make someone a really great trail partner he’s just not the high caliber horse that I need at this time. I have absolutely all vet records, proof of cares, and x-rays that I’m happy to share with a perspective home. My vet did recommend trying an adequan or previcox program, but I’m already taking a major loss on this guy and he is comfortable for trail and light work.
Performance homes won’t be considered for him, but there is certainly potential for a low key lesson program (walk, trot, and a little canter)
I have videos and more pictures at request.
