On the trails you can truly ride this guy with confidence as Cowboy goes everywhere you point him without hesitation. He will climb jump or swim through any kind of obstacle you ask him to tackle. Cowboy rides in the front middle or end of a group and doesn’t mind staying back while others ride ahead. He is sure footed and has no problems gliding down the sandy banks or rocky slopes. We enjoyed riding cowboy in downtown Woodlands where he happily encountered so many new faces and kiddos. He is 100% traffic, trail, and beginner safe for any level rider. Cowboy is the horse you can trust for your husband to get home safely on after a boozy trail ride. Get a little to tipsy? Just ask Cowboy to lay down for an easy mount. Not only is he a relaxed levelheaded horse on the trails, but cowboy remains easy and uncomplicated in the arena as well. With many hours of professional training under his saddle, he will make anyone feel comfortable and confident while on his back. He preforms many maneuvers including pivoting on fore-quarters and hind-quarters, stopping on voice or seat commands, backing, lead departures and transitions. He will spin and side pass both directions, lope perfect circles around the arena with or without his bridle, carries the flag and tarp, and has no problems pulling a tire. He has been used to sort and gather cattle as well drag calves during branding season. No matter your goals, dreams, or needs, Cowboy is the perfect representation of what a true draft cross should be. This gelding sells March 25th in Aikens, SC at the Southern Belle Classic. Online, Phone and Inperson bidding are all allowed. PPE and xrays are on file, buyers are allowed to ride horses before purchasing either in Texas or South Carolina.
