If you are looking for a horse who wants to be your best friend I would like to introduce you to Westin. He is a beautiful dark bay 12 year old percheron dutch cross gelding. Westin stands 17hh and is put together perfectly. If Westin was a human he would be the life of the party and the guy everyone wants to know.... (read more) If you walk out to the field and say his name he comes running every time. If you pass his stall he tilts his head sideways and pokes his little nose out to say hi. He just oozes personality. He’s a total people pleaser. Westin is very well broke walk trot and canter. He knows his leads and has effortless transitions both up and down. He rides in a simple snaffle and will move off of seat and leg pressure. He will even swap his leads when asked. Westin is schooling basic dressage moves and shows great potential. He also jumps around inside and out in fantastic form. He will not shy from the jumps and is very easy to find a distance on. He has been out on the back roads and ridden around some of Michigan’s beautiful hunt country. Brush, hills, water, dogs, traffic, wildlife all no issue. Westin is also broke to drive and looks stunning pulling a carriage. This is the type that will be right there for you all day every day and do everything in his power to please.
