Only smoky blue roan son of Cotton Eyed Joe Y, he is big bodied, large boned, 15.1hh (should mature about 15.2 hh as he is still growing), gentle disposition, nicely gaited, has several foals on the ground- about 50% roan. Can also pass on the cream gene. Lightly started but has not really been ridden yet except in the pen, no bite or kick- he is gentle. Has bred both in hand and in the pasture. We are retaining his perlino roan colt and don't have the room for multiple stallions as we have his sire and one other stallion.... (read more) Sired by Cotton Eyed Joe Y (Golden Emperor-Golden Mae) and out of Diamond Fox's Deja Blue (Rambler's Diamond Fox out of a daughter of Missouri Bo). He has lines up close to Red Rawhile, Golden Governor, Missouri Rambler, and Poole's Blue Boy. No Southern Sunrise or Southern Playboy or Merry Boy Sensation so would make a nice outcross sire on mares with these lines. If you are looking to breed old foundation lines, correct conformation with good temperaments and the bonus of color this guy is as good as it gets.
