Indian Head Nickle AKA Nickle is a 2015 16 hand OTTB gelding. He raced until September of 2021 and since then has been with Lindsey Burns learning the ropes of being a dressage mount and has taken everything into stride. Retired from the track sound with no limitations. He competed at the 2022 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover and was the 7th place team horse in dressage. Nickle is looking for his new person that loves ground work sessions and saddle time.... (read more) I personally know this gelding and he is very sweet and kind to be around. He takes everything in stride, travel, new venues, different riders, he's the same horse. Can be turned out alone or with friends. He is ready to go in any direction, personally I think he'd be lovely as a hunter. Nickle has great feet, eats well, and loves attention. While he isn't a beginner's horse, he doesn't need the best rider in the world, he is not offended by mistakes. He could easily be an amateur or junior horse with the right trainer helping out. Up to date on vaccines (September 2022), worming (December 2022), and teeth (January 2023). More pictures and video available upon request.
