Commissioner is a 6yo, 15.1 hh stunning, big boned and stout grade Quarter Horse gelding with a great temperament. He was started last year and is solid under saddle. He stands for the vet and farrier, and will patiently stand tied for hours.

No matter which side you prefer, he will stand still during saddling and mounting and will not move off until asked to do so. He’ll stand at a mounting block or straddle a log so you can get on or off if you need, and you can slide off his butt and he doesn’t budge.... (read more)

He will walk, trot and lope off of leg pressure and responds to light hands. He will stop quickly from your seat from all gaits while on a loose rein.

He is very sweet and loves being with people, whether he knows them or not. He will come to you in the pasture and will back away from the feeder in his stall at feeding time. He always has a great attitude and never walks away when he sees you coming to get him to go to work.

With a willing attitude and so much potential, he is ready for his next phase of training, no matter what type of job it may be for. Since he was just started last year I listed several skills that I think he will be well suited for, but he works hard, tries to please and has so much potential that I know he will fit many more.
