This is a BIG STOUT LINE BACK DUN JOHN MULE that has been used for trail riding and arena work. This mule stands a solid 15.3 hands on a stick. He is 12 years old and has trail experience. He will go through water and up and down rough terrain without batting an eye. We have had him in the streams and up and down the mountains. He has been in the pastures with cattle to check calving cows and the fences. He will walk out nicely and has a smooth run/walk shuffle gait.... (read more) He will walk, trot, and canter when asked. He will load nicely on the trailer, stand tied, bathe, and stand to mount. He picks up all four feet with ease. I have ridden him bareback and in just a halter and lead rope. He has been on the main roads. He has been ridden behind wagon and carts with no fuss. This mule will stand for a mounting block or anything else you want to take him over to in order to mount or dismount. He will ride out alone and also likes going in a group.
