Spyke is a 13yo 14.2h AQHA gelding. I dont even know where to start with this guy. First, very very special. My younger daughter had zero confidence a year ago. Sure she was a pretty show rider but never would just do her own thing. Would never go catch, groom and saddle alone. Never would leave the ring. Never would canter on anyone but her own. Never jump. Never would ride bareback. Spyke came along as a sale horse and both girls were instantly in love.... (read more) He had to stay. We hauled Spyke to many trail rides, horse shows and even summer camp. He was year end Jr Hunt Seat horse/rider at a series in CT. They went to summer camp together in CT where everything was done without parental help. We rode the beach, mountains, open fields. Bareback, English, western. This horse made my daughter confident and made her ride! Look at the pictures. Many are of her jumping with him. That was something we never thought would happen. Now, if I had another younger child this horse would never leave. Currently he sits as he was a step up horse and did his job. On to a bigger equitation warmblood. Poor Spyke. He is a saint and deserves his own person again. This guy has the best personality, he loves to play and have friends in turnout. He loves to have toys to play with too. Out of the ring he absolutely loves water, he will sit there all day and just splash away. He does have stipulations however. He will not be sold to just anyone so you will be asked probably a million questions before seeing him. He is just that special that we need the perfect home for him. This is ones that literally has the best of everything and that alone is so hard to find these days.
