Hank - 14 year old, Curly coat, dun gelding, hypoallergenic hair coat, approx 15 hands and stout. He's a heavy made horse with thick bone, used as a trail horse and done some hunting in the past. No fancy arena training, just a mellow guy that prefers a walk/trot pace and being outside. We have taken him to a gymkhana playday just for fun and ridden him on the road with traffic as well, haven't seen him spook or get worried about anything yet.... (read more) Hank has a quiet disposition and although he can be a little standoffish, he still has a willing nature. He would do best for someone that can give direction to a horse, intermediate or advanced beginner would probably do okay. He ties, loads, hauls and tacks up well. Sound and healthy, recently vetted, teeth float, sheath cleaning, chiropractic and trim, currently barefoot. His feet were neglected in the past, so he is still learning to hold his hinds still for the farrier, but has improved greatly. He really has offered us no trouble and truely will be missed, however I need to focus my time on the project horses, he is offered now at 4500 in the hopes that he'll fit more people's budget.
