Champ (*2003) is a quiet and super gentle solid sorrel Paint gelding with a big blaze. His confirmation is outstandingly balanced! He has a big “motor”, sturdy legs and lots of stamina and power. Champ is sensitive to ride and a little shy - a muscled athlete, but a softy at heart and super respectful!
In spite of his height (about 16 hands) has a surprising smooth trot and really nice gaits and neck reins well. His strides at walk, fast trot or gallop are ground-covering and he is anything but lazy!... (read more) Champ is 100% sound (barefoot), healthy and has NO vices. He stands for the farrier/picking all 4 hoofs, loads into stock trailers, stands for baths, is surefooted, crosses the river without fuzz.
He is suitable for confident intermediate rider. As he is a solid sorrel he was never registered in the APHA, but both of Champ’s parents are registered (Quarter Horse Sire CL Oliver Three bars + Paint Horse Dam Dianas Belle).
If you are looking for a companion horse Champ would be a great fit too! He is an easy keeper and gets along with every horse - yes, even mares ;-) Our beloved big boy is looking for a loving forever home - he is a really nice horse and deserves the best!
