This is a REALLY BIG BLACK PERCHERON GELDING that is broke to ride and drive. He is a great big boy standing on a stick at 17.3 & 1/2 hands tall. He is 14 years old and he has been there and done that. If you need a big horse that is very broke, here is the horse for you. He has been in parades, pulled a carriage, cart, wagon, and been hooked double and single to farm machinery. He has been trail ridden many miles and will cross water and all other trail obstacles quietly.... (read more) He is traffic safe on the main roads and been around lots of equipment like tractors, skid steers, side by sides, and big trucks. He will move out when asked into an extended trot or if you want to go slower he has a nice easy soft jog. He has a nice canter and he will stop on whoa. He backs up and moves off of leg cues. He has excellent ground manners, he loads easily, stands for a bath, stands tied, and he hauls with no fuss. He gets along well with other horses and he will ride out alone or in a group. He will pony other horses and can really pull from the horn. This gelding will weigh in around a ton and he is big boned with a gorgeous, full, shiny, and thick mane, tail, and foretop.
