Apollo is a stunning 15.2h 2013 Friesian gelding I have owned for over a year now and he has been a pleasure to have around. When Apollo came to us last winter he was eager to learn. Since he has joined our program, we have been riding him consistently both western and dressage. He was sent to a professional dressage trainer for 90 days in TX last spring and Gia, fell in love with him.... (read more) Gia even started him over a few fences which he actually really enjoyed. Since coming home from Texas, not only have we continued his dressage training, we have also taken Apollo on lots of trail rides all over and loves his time exploring in a group or alone. There isn’t much on the trail or down the road that bothers this gorgeous boy.
He rides well and knows all his basic lateral movements. Apollo has a gorgeous expressive trot and a super comfortable and fluid lope. He looks amazing in both English and Western tack!
He stands quietly at the mounting block, stands quietly on cross ties, fly sprays, bathes, hauls and loads great. He is at a point in our program that we feel it is now time for him to find his forever home. Apollo must have the perfect home! He would excel in just about any discipline and look amazing doing it! Apollo currently is living outside in his paddock and only comes in when the weather is rough however, he is a gentleman in a stall. He is current on all vaccines and scheduled dental work. Apollo is also barefoot and has been since we have owned him.
