Mitzi is a heritage-outcross (learn more about this registry at visit our website with her dam being IHWHA gait-certified. Combined with her sire, they made this perfect baby. She’s also TWHBEA-registered.
Mitzi’s sire is homozygous roan and from her dam, she got the sabino gene. Per UC Davis, who were happy to explain this to me, every foal she produces will be either roan OR sabino, as the genes are on the same allele.... (read more) Her genetics are Ee aa nSb1 nRn (and she test Ed NN for cream, which we requested as her sire is a smoky black roan).
Mitzi was born on Good Friday 2022 and is the sweetest filly I’ve ever had. Selling her is really difficult, but I have to cut back on babies since we moved cross country last month.
I think she’ll be around 15.2. Everything about this girl has been super easy. She has her parents’ laidback and personable temperaments. She’ll be better suited to be a family horse rather than a broodmare left out in the pasture. Not that pastured broodmares aren’t content, she’s just one who absolutely loves people, is used to daily attention, and it makes her a joy to work with.
Pics are current and go back to last summer and spring.
I just registered her and am waiting for the dna kit, all registration paperwork will be transferred within 30 days upon full payment. I didn’t do it sooner because I wasn’t planning to sell her.
She has a current coggins and I need a 24 hour notice for her health certificate.
