Trigger is a 9 year old bay gelding quarter horse, and he is the perfect horse for someone looking for a fully broke horse. He is extremely submissive, he can get fully vertical and hold the vertical trot for as long as you want him to. He literally follows you around like a puppy dog! You don’t have to even have a halter on him he will follow you without even touching him.he is extremely easy to catch also, when you want to put the halter on him he will literally dip his head into the halter and help you put it on!... (read more) When you are riding him and you want him to stop immediately all you have to do is sit back and he stops. he is FINGER LIGHT, all you haveto use is 1 finger to turn him or back him up, you can see that in the video attached. he does not fight the bit at all. Trigger is 100% sound, and he has a lot of heart he is very eager to learn. He stands for farrier, and to be tacked with no problems at all. He does not buck or kick at all whatsoever. He really has no bad habits at all. He has been trained and broke by a professional lisenced trainer for months. He spent the majority of his life being a cow horse so he has no problem working on a ranch, and the past 4 months he was trained for western pleasure. He is not registered, but he comes from registered stock, and you can tell that very easily when you see how he rides, acts, and his overall intelligence.I have vet records, and he passed with flying colors no issues whatsoever. He is up to date with shots that are necessary by most barns.the only reason why I am selling trigger is because I have too many horses, and the barn that I keep him at has no more room, and my other horses are very expensive show horses. I am making this post with a very heavy heart because I really don’t want to sell him, he really has no aggressive bone in his body, anybody who spends any time with him will see how much heart he has. Unlike other horses he is not lazy at all he loves to lope, all it takes is one kick of your leg and he’s gone, but if you don’t want him to lope he won’t.he is in the beginning stages of learning to spin and slide, he has already learned to cross over with his shoulders. He knows how to side pass as well, and many other things. In my opinion if you have a good trainer or have the knowledge yourself you can probably get him to start completely spinning and sliding in a month or two. He has been taking care of in a top quality manner, his coat is so slicked out, and he has gained so much weight since I got him, he is quite muscular. Any other questions don’t hesitate to text or call me, I have no problem in letting anyone come ride him before purchasing. Anyone who rides him will know he is a great horse.
