“Brayden’s Hancock Babe” aka Reina is a barn favorite! She has the personality, looks & brain to make anyone happy, beginner or advanced riders. She has a puppy dog, in your pocket personality & even will “smile” on command. Compliments of our lesson students teaching her! She is a love!
Reina is a 5yo, registered Grullo, QH mare standing at 14.1hh currently. She is built like a little tank & still filling out, has perfect confirmation, clean legs, solid feet (that are barefoot) & a thick tail that drags the ground.... (read more) No extensions needed here for the show ring! She is a looker! Pictures do not do this girl justice as she has a prominent dorsal strip down her back & the Grullo stripes on her inner legs. Reina is the color, size, has the brain and perfect age for anyone ready to hit the show ring both English or Western.
If you’re looking for something safe that is more whoa then go whether it be English or Western, Reina is your girl. She has 3 smooth gaits, easy leads (gets it every time) natural heasdset (never comes above withers), has been started over fences & learning her flying changes. She is a smart girl, very willing and learning quickly! She has potential for the large pony division, with the confirmation to match for the model classes. She offers a horse stride but,can just as easily collect up for a pony stride. She’s been schooled off property with no issues, used for pony parties and ridden by young beginners & advanced adults. She is a very, very quite all around pony ready to go in any direction.
Reina has been ridden western as well & is starting to learn to neck rein & be a handy little girl. She rides bit-less & does extremely well that way western. She’s been off the property for horse shows, schooling, pony rides and trail rides with absolutely no problem at all. She’s the same pony off property as she is at home, quite, quite, quite! She is very brave, willing & intelligent. She walks through water, over bridges, up & down steep terrain, goes alone or in a group & is fine on the road with traffic. This mare has a good brain on her!
On the ground Rein is extremely quiet, level headed to lead & easy to be around. She will stand on the crossties without a peep for however long you leave her. She will lift her feet to be picked, stands to be groomed & is great for the farrier, dentist & vet. She offers no spook or giddy up at all! Reina is stalled at night & can be turned out alone or with other horses with no problems.
If you are looking for a quiet, solid level headed, smart mare that is ready & willing to go in any direction wether it be English, Western, your lesson program, your kids or your husband Brayden’s Hancock Babe has all of that to offer!! She is UTD on everything.
I personally love & adore this little mare. She was supposed to remain with me to excell as my move up show pony for my lesson students but, unfortunately our barn owner fell ill with breast cancer. The medical bills are piling up & I unfortunately have no other choice but to find Reina her next (only the best perfect home) I will be extremely picky with who takes interest in her. A good home is a absolute MUST!
