Truman is the real deal! The whole package! 100% in every way. You can’t get any safer than this guy. He’s truly a horse of a lifetime! Truman is a Percheron Friesian cross gelding, standing about 16 hands.... (read more) He rides english and western and drives! He has many arena and trail miles and has been through our training program. Although we have put some fancy “buttons” on him, he is the kind of horse born good and will always stay good. Leave him to sit for a month; he will be the same horse every time!
Truman will have smooth, comfy gaits in the arena that anybody can ride. He is soft in the bridle and moves off your leg easily for some great lateral movement with balanced transitions. He will work over ground poles and small jumps. Ride him english, western, bareback, you can throw the kids on him, and he will always set up to the plate and try his hardest. On the trail, Truman is as safe as they come. We will ride out alone or in a group of horses. Crosses logs, rivers, and bridges and is traffic safe on the roads with cars, trucks, ATVs, and dirt bikes. He will happily walk calmly and steadily all day and go anywhere you point him.
Truman loves to stand on the crossties to be groomed, bathed and loved on. He is so gentle and calm enough for small children to handle. Great for vets and farriers and trailers with no issues. He is an easy keeper and gets along with other horses. He is a horse with a lot of heart and is ready to share it with his forever person or family.
