Tana is a 11 year old bay roan quarter horse gelding. He is a tank and everyone loves him. He is 16hh. He stands for the farrier and baths, loads and trailers well, he has very good ground manners and will follow you without a halter and lead, he will come right up to you in the pasture. Tana is broke VERY well. Neck reins good, He backs of well, stops, trots when you click and canter when you smooch, when you put your reins towards his ears, he knows its time to go.... (read more) I've ridden him bareback and trail rode him. Tana is not for a beginner as he does have speed and loves to run. Tana previously came from a ranch. I feel like he would love going back to ranch work or would do amazing roping. He would also excel as an amazing barrel horse if he was restarted on them. he has ran a 19 second barrel run with me on a big pattern and that was without me pushing him. If he was restarted and worked on it more, I could see him pulling great times with the right rider and unfortunately that is not me. Him and I do not click. This is my only reasoning for selling and if I had the room to keep him, I would not be letting him go as he is a really good horse and we love having him around. He has been hauled to shows all the time, taken to the fair, and has had experience running at rodeos. He has ran all the speed patterns
I would like his pasture buddy to go with him, but won't require it. His pasture buddy is buddy sour (Tana is not buddy sour, he could care less about being away but she has been attached to him since I brought him home and they've been bestfriends.) I would just let her go with and won't be asking anything for her, I would just like them to go together but if not thats okay, she can stay here.
